Weekly Open Meetings

Tuesdays @7pm

Ritchie Community League

*NOTE: every 3rd Tuesday we have an action planned in lieu of a meeting.

XR Edmonton meets weekly to discuss how we can take action to directly address the Climate Emergency!

If you're interested in helping organize and/or contributing to the cause, or even just curious, then please come through and meet like-minded people ready to make a difference.

Land Acknowledgement

XR Edmonton acknowledges Treaty 6 territory-amiskwacîwâskahikan (ᐊᒥᐢᑿᒌᐚᐢᑲᐦᐃᑲᐣ)-the ancestral territory and birthright of the Cree, Dene, Blackfoot, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, & Métis. We acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis & Inuit whose traditions shaped these lands for generations. We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers & Elders, past and present, and recognize their land as an act of reconciliation and gratitude to those whose territory we reside on or are visiting.

Transportation

If you're having difficulty reaching a meeting please message us. We have bus tickets and carpooling available for those with limited transportation who would still like to be heard.

All Are Welcome

We offer a safe space for all people. We affirm all people regardless of their age, culture, ability, ethnic origin, gender, gender identity, marital status, nationality, race, religion, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status. By participating in our events, you commit to creating a community of mutual respect, concern and safety for all persons.
